i was doing a photography assignment today and i took some pics of the area that i live. (mornington peninsula for those who know where that is) i thought id post em up.

anyway id like to see the surrounding area where you guys live,

it could be fun, find interesting things in you local area and post some pics.

exscuse the quallity of the pics, my camera takes em at 20mb and its hard to get them down without loosing quality

ill get some more soon, as you dont get much scenery in these ones

holy schnitt you live there! looks like a bloody holiday resort *jealous*

i'm afriad all i've got to take pics off is worn down 400 year old buildings, an airport and some pasty looking tramps.

Photos of my garden which is shared with neighbours. Ill take some more of my surroundings later but it means I have to make an effort so well that may be some time

Heres a pic of my garden, and also a pic of the moors (mile or so from my house)

Pics of my property surrounding my house. I couldn't find any animals when I took the pictures but there are usually a few chipmunks, squirels, or bunnies around.

I actually go outside alot more than most people and you can probably tell why from looking at these.

EDIT: Don't mind the time and date posted in the pics. :o

wow you guys have beutiful liveing spaces, I live in a typical suburb type place. I'l post pictures if I ever get my digital cam. :borg:

wow, you guys live in really nice places.

burnzie, you have great pictures, but you should lower the resolution of at least 1/3 so that it can be completly visible on screen and save them with less compresion to make them sharper.

i used to live in a nice place but.....nope....not anymore...

welcome to burnley

I live near the ocean too. Actually it's more like a lake, I mean river....I mean shitty brown watered creek.

i couldnt live without the beach. im a beach bum in the summer, i love it

hmm, churches, sounds a bit like adelade in Australia. Churches everywhere

Heh, il just link you to a site with some pictures. A few things have changed since these were taken but nothing much.

http://www.stalybridge.org.uk/views.htm

here is the webcam...uh...thesky isnt always pink. I think the camera is broken.

http://www.tameside.gov.uk/corpgen/stalywebcam.htm The building with the 3 prisms is the market building, then its the police station and the car park is the Tesco car park.

I tried finding link to the other cameras but i couldnt find them. When i finaly get round to taking pictures, il be sure to post them.

I live in the knob region of Kentucky...basically its like a mountain range...except the mountans seldom reach over 200 ft high. :| I live between two well known distilleries...Makers Mark and Heaven Hill. I'd get some pictures of the area, but I dont have a digital camera. :x

Heh...a mountain that doesn't reach over 200Ft? Is that actually classed as a mountain. I would have thougt a rocky hill or possible a large rock outcrop.

Your dang right it's full of churches.

Where I live now is the absolute pits. Very crappy area and every 1/2 hour you can hear a train go by. Doesn't matter though I'm moving today (I mean it) Last week my mother informed me that a house was available in the suburb we left due to a Leace ending. I'll take a few picture when we get there and upload em with my laptop.

some more for those interested

The first one is looking back accross the town i live in.

this is fun, im gonna drive up to Arthers Seat in a day or so, the view from up there is increddible, i need to pick a nice day to do it though

I'll have to get some pictures of my property tomorrow :)
