Location textures!?

Where are all the stock vtf/vmt's located for cs:s?? i cannot seem to find them... i want to edit the surface properties and i cant find them, i can only find my custom ones.. i did a search, to no avail?

They're in the counter strike source GCF in your SteamApps folder. You can open them using either GCFScape or HL2Studio.
