Except for the last 4 or so posts the discussion has been back on gun control, and mainly from anti gun control standpoints.

Please unlock the thread as there hasn't been name calling besides from some specific individuals and if anything their individual posts should be deleted.

I strongly feel the thread was locked due to moderator disagreement with the politics rather than any rule breaking, please unlock the thread promptly.
If that were so, Glenn or Pi would have locked it ages ago. Like I said, if you feel that strongly about it, make another thread purely on discussion of gun control as the locked thread has already derailed far from Obama's stance on gun control into forum members' stance.
And? It was a natural progression of discussion in the thread, not "DERAILMENT"

There was not much more to say on Obamas stance, as it is what it is. Discussing the results of it and gun control continues in the thread. If you dont closs every thread that has strayed from its original topic (which is almost every other on the first page) you are being completely biased and closing it out of political opinion.

People have still made valid points that I want to quote and respond to IN THAT thread. Reopen it and stop being biased in moderating.

This thread was locked unfairly, it should be reopened for discussion.

And you're making shit up.

There's a few unclosed gun control threads still around I think. If you want to discuss the issue, I suggest finding them.

It's just ironic that once posts started coming in supporting a more anti gun-control position its suddenly locked.

Sure the last 3 or 4 posts were spammy but it wasnt indicative of the discussion going on right before that.

Oh, do piss off. You see political bias in everything, when there isn't any.
