Logitech Cordless RumblePad 2

I just bought a Logitech Cordlesss RumblePad 2, and it dos'nt work with Half Life 2. The software that it came with dosnt work, i can only move around. I tried to use this program called JoytoKey but it dos'nt recognize that i have a second thumbstick on my gamepad so it binds moving and looking to one thumbstick and that is way to hard to use because everytime I move forward Dr.Freeman Looks up and walks so i walk blind!! but it does let use the other actions like shooting, jumping etc. do you know how to get it to work with Half Life 2? PLEASE SOMENE HELP ME!!

Perhaps HL² doesnt support pads? (well not very many at least) because the most popular way to play FPS is with a mouse and a keyboard, you aim ALOT better.

I've been playing with the Saitek wireless pad and I had to use it's software to map the appropriate keystrokes to the pad's buttons. Have you tried that (I know you said the software it came with wasn't working...)?

I did find the aiming was unmanagable and had to resort to my mouse for busy firefights.

It also wouldn't let me use my second joystick...

Other than that, I liked the option of using the pad for movement and the joystick for looking--I found it easier than using the keyboard for everything.
