LOL.. Kirsten Dunst lets slip spider man info on TOTP

i was watching an interview of toby miguire and Kirsten Dunst on top of the pops, just right now (it was about the music) and Kirsten Dunst lets slip that there will be 2 villains in SM3, and toby just kinda mumbles a bit. She then refferes to toby and says "this ones about forgiveness or something right"?, and he just kinds looks embarrassed and says "eerrr... i dunno... im keeping it zipped" and implies that hes not supposed to tell anyone.

SHES gonna get a bollocking by someone :p

lol, also i just got back from seeing the film (its my last day of school for 6 weeks so i went early) and the film rocks. ten times better than the first. it has great character development AND action!

anyway, just thought this was funny.
 
My guess is it'll be the green goblin number 2 and the evil craigweb (the villain spiderman never beat) :)
 
lol, sulkdodds was in the cinema as well as me, but i didnt go with him it was a complete coincidence. He came up to me and slapped me in the adverts :(

didnt walk home with him tho, was with a freind that didnt like him...

also, have you noticed that peter parker IS gordon freeman of a younger age? have a look at peter parkers picture (with his glasses on) and you will see a resemplance :p
 
its not goblin 2! Its "Hob Goblin" which is Norman Osborne.
 
definetly hob goblin.. as for the other.. I actually think it might be scorpion, as Parker knew him.. Wasn't he one of the earliest villains?
 
if it was venom, i would love that. venom pwns.

it would certainly give an exiting movie... and seeing as there is an astronaught in this one, maybe next movie he could go into space and find that meteorite that has "venom"...

anyway, venom would be one of the best oppertunities for CGI to shine :)

and lol, i just decided to make a peter parker- gordon comparison :p

No, the Hobgoblin was a guy who found one of Osbourne's secret stashes.

(Heheh, I bought a guide to Spiderman recently. It's cool.)

First there's a couple of Green Goblins, then various incarnations of the Hobgoblin, and thennnnnn...

... The original Green Goblin (Harry's dad) comes back, having been in hiding as the head of a secret organisation for years after waking up on a slab in the city morgue - turns out that performance-enhancer had life-support abilities and healing powers... that stabbing by his own glider didn't actually kill him...

Wrong it is Grenn Goblin 2, Hob Goblin finds out about the Green Goblins secret layer.

I KNEW THERE WOULD BE 2 ViLLIANS.

Venom came to be after spider man used the wrong machine to create a costume during the secret wars. Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) helps spidey get rid of the suite then it finds Eddie Brock and poof Venom is born.

I Think Venom would be an awsome villian but they would have to kill so much comic history to make this happen and I know that will frustrate a lot of Fans, Like myself.

Jeez At least the could do something like the Sandman.

I think that girl who played the Vampire in Underworld would be a good "Black Cat".

lol, i never read the comics (i was too young, when i was into spider man i could only get them at antique stores :p i had a few newer ones, that had the cool art, but i maily bought these crappy cartoon tie in comics).

i only used to watch the cartoons and buy these crappy comics for 7 year olds, and in the comics/ cartoon an astranaught found a meteor in space. (this type of comic employed crappy kid - cartoonists :( ) Some goop, off it turned spidey super strong etc, then the strange goop attached itself to someone else, and he got some of spideys powers (as well as crawling skin... literally :p)

i just presumed the cartoons used the origonal ideas...

anyway, say more about venom :) i find him very interesting :D
 
They wont have another green goblin, you can only really get away with that in the comics and TV shows, but it'll be seen as a cop out in a third movie.. It's the Hobgoblin that'll turn up in the 3rd, along with Dr Doom, my favorite one apart from Dr. Octopus and the HobGoblin, which lets face it, was MUCH better than the Green Goblin anyway :)
 
What happended tp the MTV spider man ?

I remember it was good at the begining, but then the last episods were so stupid.
 
Huh correct me if I'm wrong but Venom is Mary Jane's fiancee in Spidey 2, and I'm willing to bet that he's going to catch the ET virus next time he goes on the moon.

Think Venom is cool check out the the symbiots off spring, Kletus Kasady better known as Carnage.

Venom is Eddie Brock, he also works at the Daily Bugle.

Get your facts straight. HOB GOLBIN and GREEN GOBLIN 2 are two different people. In Fact there is a 3rd GREEN GOBLIN wich comes a ways later.

I would love it to be King Pin, but you would need some who lives up to his sheer size though to pull it off.
 
That's true.

On a side note I did enjoy the hospital scene when Doc Oc woke up, it was very "evil deadish" hehe :)

Oh and forget Kingpin, they had him in Daredevil.

Sam Riami is not going by the comics.

Venom is such an interesting character that he deserves a sequel of his own vs Spider Man

Venom having to share a sequel with another villain will do no justice to the story or the hardcore fans ;(

yeah.. in the comics thats how it is.. but in Spider Man2 they messed the angle up since they did not introduce Eddie or Felicia Hardy.. these two characters are so important to the Spider Man story.. especially Felicia later on..

and how the hell do u not have Flash Gordon in the movie? :p

I believe this is the order of goblins, correct me if I'm wrong:

Green Goblin- Harry Osborne
Green Goblin (2) - Norman Osborne
Hob Goblin - Some other dude with Osborne equipment

And Riami has already strayed quite a bit from the comics, so do not expect the movies to be motion-picture versions of the comics.

yeah...yeah.. i know.. hollywood pple always find a way/reason to stray from the comics.. really.. its my fault.. i should have gotten used to it by now.. especially after watching both X-Men movies :rolleyes:

its too much to expect the hollywood pple to at least keep the fans who made the comics and characters so popular, happy by keeping the major parts of the comic book storyline in tactic.. :rolleyes:
