They are so lucky! I bet they were outside all morning in preparation for this rare occurrence.

But millions more shuttered themselves in, gripped by fearful myths in a country that abounds in Hindu mythology-based superstitions and fables, one of which says an eclipse is caused when a dragon-demon swallows the sun.

God I wish I lived in the eastern hemisphere, it must look incredible.
 
I have a friend who lives in Japan right now because her husband is stationed there and they said it was amazing. she even posted some facebook pics
