lol his de_rave map looks like a sasquatch hit wit his poop shooter while sniffing purple flurple thinking it was xtc.

but the orig posters map looks fun, needs better lighting and more than 1 texture. but i'm of the opinion that if it plays fun, it doesn't matter too much about texture and lighting.

yeah - havent seen either map but stupid comments like that are ....well stupid... Even if youre a new mapper (or new to a particular game) you need constructive critiscism rather than something like "well this map sucks, you suck" etc, etc etc...

People like that guy really get to me...We all have our own tastes and maybe the mapper thought his map was good, maybe his friends enjoyed it....UGH!!!

As far as Im concerned it looks decent. Me on the other hand having problems making a map bigger than two rooms and a sky camera full of buildings. I guess planning would of been helpful.
