looking for a good sound card

im trying to get my christmas list together. I have chosen my new case http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-133-132&depa=0

but i need a new soundcard, i want one with atleast 5.1 sound (since my speakers are 5.1) but has a good mic support. Max im looking to spend is about $70 to $80 on it. suggestions plz

Audigy 2 would probably be the best for 3D sound when playing games. Should be able to find at low enough prices. If not there are Audigy 2 Value cards for much less.

If you want to do more music/recording and not as much 3D positional sound in games then M-Audio would be much better. IMO
And they don't use Creative drivers which can be a plus.

Audigy=b-b-b-bad! Soundblaster always resample the sample rate in audio. Go with terratec, they beat audigy in every aspect.
