Looking for a PC driving game...

Hi,

Not a massive driving game fan and don't get on well with stuff like Colin McRae/VRally etc.

Can anyone tell me anything about :

Flatout
Burnout
NFS Underground 2

I care more about Internet/network play than singleplayer tbh

yeah any of the NFSU's... It's always night time, you should turn off some lighting effects like blurring and light glowing which gave me a headache but its a good driving game (they both are)... NFSU is alittle less complicated and in my opinion better as a driving game than NFSU2, although the latter as more cars and flashy bits.

I would suggest that you try the rFactor demo that is out - it has got great internet/multiplayer in it - even though it is still a beta.

Also check out http://www.liveforspeed.net/ - it also is a great online racing game, which afaik you can buy after you have downloaded it.. (much like steam)

Flatout isn't out yet, and as he said Need For Speed: Underground 2 is pretty good. Burnout 3 is a great game to have fun smashing each other cars, but thats not available on the PC. To easily find reviews and info about all the racing games head over to www.gamespot.com and www.ign.com and check some of that stuff out. You can read the reviews, previews, and info for free and also stream the videos for free.
