Looking for an Internship in the US

Hey guys,

Im a student in International Trade and I have a mandatory 2 months internship (wich must be done outside France).

My main objective is to go to US. I have gone to the States before, but mainly Texas and Miami and they were only quick holidays with my parents.
I would really like to get to know in depth the american culture and I believe this internship is a great opportunity.

The intenship is for May and June, it has to be about marketing, sales or market studies.

I've tried some job sites but I was wondering if any of you guys would be kind enough to tip me of.

In-depth american culture? wow. I don't even know what that is. How does the internship work? If you're basically a 'free' employee, this may be a great time to come over. I don't have any recommendations though.

New York City is cool if you're just spending a week there, otherwise it's a shit hole to live in.
