Im looking for an old game i used to play when i was a little kid, i cant remember the year exactly, could be anywhere from 1993 to 1996.

The game is VERY similar to this one (Crystal Caves) for DOS:

But its not that game. The game i played was on a Mac and had much worse graphics, with very simple textures. You had to dig caves and watch out for boulders that would fall on you when digging underneith them. I cant remember much other than that you had to collect either purple or blue shaped diamonds.

I havent played the game ever since, and i have long lost its name. If anyone knows of a game like this, please let me know, it would give me the largest nostalgia orgasm ive ever had.

EDIT:

Wow found another game that looks extremely similar:

Why do i find all these clones but not the original?!?!?!

Im afraid those are not it :(

I should also add that the graphics are very similar to the pic i posted, with black squares around the boulders. Its scary how similar it is, yet so different.

Oh man. I know the exact game you're talking about, but I can't remember the name.

Now I'm going to be thinking about it all day :(

yeah I remember it. it was annoying as hell.

It's Boulder Dash. Sorry for double post. If not, there's a list:

Hm its definitly one of these variants, but i went through every single one and none of them is the exact one im looking for. I remember very clearly how it looked and these all looks very similiar. Maybe my memory has faded so much that ive made up my own visual of it and its actually one of these games.

Shit, this reminds me of a Bomberman clone I had as a kid. It was 1-4 players (or AIs) and the textures were all bricks, you had to kill the other players (and I think there was something you could collect as well). The player icons were little bombs and the game had classical music for the soundtrack (well known stuff like Beethoven etc). Mid/Late 90s shareware... any ideas? I can't remember what it was called for the life of me.
