Looking for artist

Hello, I'm currentley looking for an artist willing do make cover art for my fan fiction Half-life 2: The Resistance. My fiction is very near completion, and I wanted to have cool and original artwork when I print off copies and send them to Valve, my family and friends. In exchange I will...uh..give you a cookie. :thumbs:

Tip: You're way more likely to get quality responses / any responses if you describe exactly what you want illustrated, in what medium, and what you'll be offering as payment.

Edit: I just noticed the cookie part.
In that case, you should offer some sort of actual recompense for what is going to be a sizeable commissioned piece that you want for personal use and to copy / redistribute.

I'm looking for an 8 1/2 X 11 picture of a Resistance man looking out over a decimated city 17, perhaps with a strider in the background. This could be done with an oil painting or really any other medium scanned, although I would really prefer a digital painting. If nobody is interested, I will just make it myself using edited screenshots and photoshop.

I'm sorry that I can't offer any sort of payment besides your name credited on the cover and in the book, and an elusive..."virtual" cookie of any size shape color and type of your choosing.

If you are really lucky, you will somehow get TDE to make one for you... But it's highly unlikely.

Suicide42 might be a good bet...

Or you could go with a pixel art cover

Oh man, The Resistance, I remember that! I read up 'til like chapter 9 or something... You have gotten so far!! I love the way you write, I enjoyed those 9 chapters that I did read, very much.

Ah, well, I decided to make the cover myself (or at least basically what I want) However, I was not able to find a map that has a very tall building overlooking destroyed city-17....

thats a good vcover. protrays a lone guy against something huge, but has a deep persepctive to show he is alone, back against the wall avoiding a strider tis cool

Forgive me for having poor memory, but I don't remember him being alone... Isn't he with his sister or something?

cousin actually, most of the time. But through much of the revolution (these last few chapters I am writing) he will be fighting for his life alone sometimes with the help of his cousin and other times with a group of resistance fighters. Anyway, that picture isnt really supposed to be a specific scene for the fiction, its just supposed to draw on the themes of it.
