In search of the bestest, fastest, and most reliable RAM there is. I have no budget.

What's the best RAM that money can buy? I'm willing to pay whatever it takes, and just wanna know what the best RAM out there is.

I'm looking to get 2 Gigs put in. Which pairs are best? Twin sticks of 1GB or two pairs of 512MB?

Please point me in the right direction halflife2.netters. :)

BTW: Preferably Newegg. Thank you.

I'd go search the highest costing ram on newegg...but thats just me...

^ registered ram isn't good for anything but servers, its actually a bit slower since it uses error correction.

What do you recommend then?

ive been using crucial ram for the past 3 years and no problem. they have specialty high end ram called ballistik(sp) that was very high on the standards.

Munchkin(s) is another great that if heard of

Depends on what your motherboard can handle. I have 800 MHz RAM (OCZ), and my motherboard only runs it at 667 MHz.

It can handle it with full potential. No worries there.

Well you know my ideas and thoughts on the subject.

What did you decide? \o/
