Lord of Destruction Install Issue

When the installer asks for my D2 Play Disc I'll put it in, hit okay, and it will proceed to load 'music.mpq' until about 70% of the way and it will just sit there. It doesn't freeze up or hang it just stops, the disc no longer spins and if I leave it long enough it asks for the play disc again.

Any ideas? I should note that I was able to install and play Diablo 2 just fine.

The best solution would be to set up an account at www.battle.net if you haven't already. You can register your CD key and download the game directly from Blizzard as many times as you want. No disk is needed!

Well I've been playing off and on since v1.0, and it's kind of funny now because since I don't have any friends in the game anymore I have nobody to rush me. So I have to play through the acts like you're supposed to and I keep running into people who have never played through Act3 before.

It's a game that kills time for the most part, I nearly lost all my characters because I logged on for the first time this week and I had 4 days left before they all expired. I probably wouldn't have cared since they've all been converted to non-ladder anyway...but still.

Every time I look at the "DOWNLOAD" button on bnet for D2, I am like "HELL YEAH LET'S DO THIS!"

Then I realize I've played through it WAY TOO MANY GODDAMN TIMES, and cancel the download.

US west psh, US East is where all the cool people are.

Unfortunately all my cool gear is now non-ladder, I haven't played much this new season so I don't have anything spectacular.
