You might not get down on it if you don't like the band. It's like watching Kiss Meets the Phantom; the movie's ridiculous, but it's Kiss. Same deal.

In all their videos they're going around terrorizing people, and this is a full-length movie of that. To me, at least, that can't go wrong.

I never found Lordi to be scary though.
I Am more amused by them then scared.
Visually it looks great and quite intriguing.
Will it deliver story and character wise though?

I could go on man. Frankly, scary movies stopped getting scary after I saw Lara Croft 2. There was a scene with a shark and it was supposed to make you jump. Scary movies are just about sudden appearances and loud sounds after long periods of silence. Also whats up with you Brits sending your B movie trash here? Keep that trash to your film festivals.

Well let me say what I said in another thread. Horror movies are you know, It, The Thing, Aliens. Modern day horror movies just plain suck. In fact the modern horror movie has nothing to do with horror at all but rather a gore fest that edges into snuff material.

Didn't you watch the trailer? They're in it. Awa's there (I have to admit the scene with her looked cheesy), and the security guard shoots at OX coming down the hallway. You don't get to see Amen and Kita clearly, but I think that's Amen standing in front of the fire at 1:43. And then of course you see Mr. Lordi with his freakin' bat wing cape thing going on. Which is awesome.

It didn't help that there was no big STARRING LORDI action going on either (although I did see the tiny word lordi right at the end on the second watch)

I would have thought they would be trying to promote the fact that it's about them a bit more D:

IT makes me laugh. Not out of derision; I laugh because Pennywise is hilarious. He's great up until the end.
