Lost Planet 2 Announced and shown!

The secret Capcom game to be announced today on the Xbox Live Marketplace turned out to be the not so secret Lost Planet 2. But still, no one is going to complain! While waiting for the trailer to encode, here is some captures from the video.

I don't know bout you but i loved the 1st game, it had a decent single player but the online was very nice!

That actually looks really good. I loved the first game... or I would have, had the controls been a bit less obtuse. Combat was fun, cool temperature mechanics, good graphics, and interesting enemy designs. If only I still lived at home with my family's 360.

Never played 1 either. This one looks better definitely, but I just don't know if it is my type of game. More plot details will be key.

I played the first and ya, the graphics were good for it's time, but the gameplay was shit.

This looks decent so far. and thank the universe that there is no snow.

I never beat the first one because what I did play was meh, but this looks good enough for me to finish the first LP.

First one was pretty and loads of fun to play. Consider me interested.

I gave the first one a really fair shake, and played a lot of it, but it still ranks as the only recent game to frustrate me so much that I quit playing it and never finished. I finished Black Site for God's sake, but Lost Planet just threw too many frustrating bits at me.

That said, I'm sure there's some good potential for a sequel, and I'll keep an eye on this one.

Holy mother of god that was awesome. What I love about this is that they're taking the scale up. Like that salamander boss, you can even shoot its front legs off and crawl inside of it once it is down. They better have the giant worms from the first game. The emphasis on Snow Pirate combat is eh.
