Lots of Random WWII photos

I think a handful of these might actually be from movies or something, but most are 100% legit. There is too many to post in this thread (254), so I'll just provide links. Also, I believe theres a few that might be unpleasant to view due to the fact that they're war photos, so just be aware I guess.
EDIT: Ok, I just deleted the gory ones, I figure Photobucket was going to do it anyways, and I feel like this should be at least sorta work-safe. Theres going to be some broken links in these posts though because of it.

I truly enjoy WW2 pictures... especially planes... but I just wish this was in a gallery that was less slow and clunky than photobucket.

I contemplated making a video for them, but then realized that it would take effort so I didn't. With photobucket all I had to do was point the bulk uploader to the folder, and then it did the rest. Literally just had to click once on the direct links and it copied them all to my clipboard. I guess ease of use on my end comes at you're expense, a price I gladly pay.

It seems to be just World War pictures that you're interested in, but even so, there's a bunch of old, high resolution photos here that I think you'd appreciate. I love stuff like this. I spent a long time clicking through your links.

Awesome links. I'll have to send them to my cousin, he loves the civilian side of the era and would probably appreciate them that much more.

That actually kinda looks like Korean war to me, judging by the lack of ammunition pouches and the V insignia on the helmets.

Or I could be wrong. I dunno. Very hard to tell.

I was trying to figure out what the armored car is, and I just found it. Its an M8 Greyhound, which doesn't tell us either way since it was used in WWII and in the Korean war.

I have a request: would you mind putting them in a zip or rar so I can download all of them without having to manually save them all individually? I'm a file hoarder and these are super cool. Great links. Very surreal to see almost modern quality photos of a time so far in the past. It's a pity that color photography wasn't invented a few thousand years ago as some kind of extreme technological fluke because I would give any one of my limbs to see pictures like this of time periods throughout history.

Haha, on land this is absolutely true (although the M1A2 is pretty sweet) but on air or sea the United States has been pretty damn untouchable in our badassery.

Russians allowed women to fight. Not out of any respect of women mind you, its just that they were running out of men.

You don't get to see many pics of the French army in WWII. They had some sweet helmets.

And commandos are just always badass.

Looking through the color photos of both the civilian and war side of the era has a haunting aspect to it. It was hard to believe the only difference between then and now is just the time. And yeah I would really wish they had color photos as far back as a thousand years, it would be a great way to connect with the people of the past and see how alike people then and now were.
