Not too long ago during the game convention of Leipzig, Germany, PCGames.de had a contest for 4 lucky readers to go play L4D at Valve. Well they posted their trip finally.

Some forum members on L4D411 can read German and they translated it. They say it was an all expense paid trip with the works for 3 days. They flew them out, and picked them up with a limo, and toured the Seattle, WA area. The hotel was at the top of the Space Needle which must have cost big $$$. The playtest was for 6 hours and they played 4 hours as Survivors and then 2 hours as the Boss Infected. Probably same thing thing with the L4D411 member who hinted at "stuff" too.
They can't talk about that though because it's going in the magazine. Besides, some info might come out during that French gaming convention or October like they said. In the 6 hours they played, they won once out of 5 games. They didn't forget us though and put out a couple of near final release screenshots. These pictures are high-res so if your running a 56k modem, then gtfo and leave the internet.
