Macs rule on EVERYTHING from Apps to Speed to Aesthetics. Everything EXCEPT games. Which is why I dont' use it.

they are quite cool as a workstation, though. A 300 Mhz g3 beats a 700 Mhz notebook in Seti@home...

apple spends about 2/3 of their money it seems on how to make mac's look cooler. That is why i will never buy one, too flashy and overpriced. Plus they suck for games no matter what.

About opteron vs madison vs g5, sounds like a fight. Macs make great worksations as sombody said.

the g5 will totally pwn them. However, you can count the cool games on a mac on one hand, so thats no gamers choice. But if you do videoediting or stuff, it great.

Doom3,halo PC,Ut2k3 are out for G5.If sierra would port hl2 over to mac that would be great for all the mac people.

Well it depends on what you want to use the computer for.
Games = PC
Graphics (Photoshop etc.) = MAC

ummm, ur poll seems bias... bad answers to the question.
PC is better, run windows, linux and such...
mac is a very stable computer.. ( other then those 5 year old ones at my skool) but mac is very limiting for us gamers
