Hopefully no longer then 6 hours. I'm adding tons of new content and rewriting all 70 odd pages to fit a new template system :/

When I say "I'm adding tons of new content" I really mean I'm going to sit on my arse and watch Majestic XII slaving over it while I sip ice tea.

now. forums are untouched though, as you see :)

Most the pages are up now but I'm still working on a great deal of it.

What kind of changes are there? I assume there will be a news announcement?

Minor changes really, we've added a few entries on weapons, characters and enemies. Added a press section with previews/interviews and redone our mod listing. It should be a lot easier to update the site now it's using a new system.

Awwww, me disappointed :) Nah, not really ... any updates are excellent news! Good job Majestic XII and Mr. Lazy-Ice-Tea-Sipper

If you or anyone has any suggestions for anything to add to the site I'll sort it out :)

It sure was hard work but i did it! Im great!

Don't make me spank you :p Been working on this for 9 hours straight now :O

Don't believe a word he says!!! :O

You cheeky buggers!

Do you know when your video files will be back up for download (i found one i haven't watched yet!! :) ). Thanks for the continued work on the best Half Life 2 site!

I removed them for today as our site was going so slow. We need to talk with Limelight properly about our mirrors so we can keep them up 24/7.

I helped by creating a thread about new weapons ;) It seems to me you didn't add any of the weapons that we don't have names for (last I checked), such as the energy weapon on the water-craft, and that pistol that briefly flashed on the screen in the E3 2004 video. Maybe put them in the "Other Weapons" section or create an "unknown weapons" section.

Good updates & Good work Munro & anyone else involved.

EDIT: I need to get you some better screenshots / pictures of the characters.

Is it poss to know exactly what stuff you added? I'm just intruiged ... just press pages and weapons?

Is that a no? :p

EDIT: Oh wait, you did kinda say earlier - doesn't matter anyway!

Those are better pics?? They look as if they've been warped and squashed :p

hmmmm...imo phantom I think you went a tad overboard with the liquify + blur + more blur + chrome...

The current Eli one is fine, and your Mossman is still at a bad angle, looks stretched, too.

I've edited the one of Mossman we have up at the moment, think it's improved. Only problem is that it's not the same dimensions as the others, had to crop it some to get rid of the loss of backround.

Nitpicking time! :naughty:

Q: Will there be a co-operative multiplayer mode?

A: No, however Sven Co-op, the leading co-operative mod for Half-Life have announced they are developing a sequel on the Half-Life 2 engine.
Could do with a comma.

Q: Will I have to use Steam with Half-Life 2?

A: Yes. Steam is the backend for Half-Life 2. It does a bunch of different things, like acting as the launcher, authentication, Friends, updating, and so on. One thing it does is that it also allows you to purchase things. If you buy Half-Life 2 in a store, it has Steam in it. If you buy Half-Life 2 via Steam, well, then it obviously has Steam in it.
That line could be a little clearer. I'd point out that it's games you purchase, and you download them without ever seeing a box.

Q: Do I need to be connected to the internet when playing Steam games?

A: No not anymore.
You have to validate the game once, that's pretty important.

There are lots more screens and concept art than what's on the site.

Wallpapers and other sections don't work yet, bla bla bla.

Just my opinion, but please remove this embarrasment.

OK, I'm done. :p

You can purchase more then games from Steam :)

Where did you get that from? :)

That's the assumption that's been made. Also quite a likely one tbh.

The entire anti-piracy move made with Steam is useless if you can play without validating the key with Valve. It'd be just like WON.
