Hello. I have a tutorial on how to put textures into the game. So that information I do not need. I am curious, though, how one makes an animated texture. (Night Vision overlay for Op4) Would you just make multiple layers in photoshop? Or is each frame its own TGA? If each frame is its own image, how does it get made into one animated file? (Also, how many frames would consider to be the "maximum" for performance issues?) And finally, after it is all made, can Hammer just pull that new texture through trigger_overlay and keep it on for the duration of the map? Or will there have to be coding involved? (This overlay is for just normal every day vision. So its not like hit button, do overlay.) Also what is the name of the HUD files (specifically the crosshairs?) Thanks for your time. Sorry for the disconected-ness of this post.
