Making TDM Servers.

First off I'm sorry if this has been posted a 1000 times before me, but I'm a noob at this site. I was wondering how do you make TDM servers? I would like to have a LAN with my friends and we really want to do this but we don't know how to make it work. If I could have Bots in it aswell would make it even better. Any help would be great.
