Ok, so as I couldn't find a better place to drop this down, I decided to.. drop it down here, heh.
So, back to topic: Is there a way to make the vertical faces of water vissible? I mean, can I flip the wavy part of the brush that has a water texture on it so that it is facing you i.e. vertical, instead of horizontal. As I have noticed, if you just make a brush in a room, tie it to a funk_water entity, set it's texture to whatever liquid text. you might find in the .wad files and run the map, only the top side will be vissible i.e. the horizontal face and the rest will be see-through. :|
I am using Valve Hammer 3.5 with Zoner's HL tools for the Rad, Csg, Bsp programs and Vis is from the original tools - for lighting (don't know how this will help).
P.S. I need this to create a working Stargate event horizon, but I do know that Stargate TC used brushes - I'd want the 3D ripple of water, that's all. :D
I have seen this in Deathmatch Classic, but I guess that Mod used some code to be redone.
