Got a good laugh after reading this, must been a crazy amount of bug spray  Linky --> boom

That has to be a load of shit, if you sprayed enough for it to blow up then you couldn't be in the room.

It has to be fake or over-exaggerated.

Ohhh, I thought you meant he ingested a bunch and it caused him to... Well, I can only imagine.

So the stuff ignited. Not that uncommon. Well, except for the fact that it happened to this extent

But really, I'm suprised he didn't leave the room due to lack of breathing room with THAT much spray in the room.

EDIT: Short Recoil beat me :(

I have tossed a can in a fire, still not much of an explosion.

Different type of explosion.

That is an explosion caused by the pressure of the can after heating, it is quite common for none of the fuel to actually ignite, rather just put out the fire.

(in big fires it works well, you don't wanna ask about when you chucked a full GAS CYLINDER on a fire, hehe)

Fuel air can be powerful as proven by my cannon!

(yes that's my kitchen)

I'm skeptical as to the truth of this...

still funny. and bug spray is indeed fun to burn.

1) Would have caused a fireball, but not an explosion (its a reletively small amount of flamable gas in a room... no explosion there)
2) Probably not enough oxygen to support fire long enough for 3 cans worth of spray to combust
3) He would pass out from the poison before he could start using the computer
4) Computers don't spark
5) This story is weapons grade balonium

Insecticide is some nasty stuff though. A family near my house had a nice log cabin style house that was only up for about a year. Lady used some of those flea bomb things too close to a power outlet and poof, house went up in flames. Insurance won't cover it either, so the house has been sitting half burnt in the same spot for about 5 years now.

I admit though, the "blew himself up" phrase was a little exagerated. "Set himself on fire" sounds more like it.

Sounds like good material for a ghost story, an abandoned half burned log house...

No it doesn't.

It has to be real, I mean it was posted on the internet...

Mythbusters proved that this sort of thing couldnt happen. They set of a huge amount of cans in about a 1000 square foot room and made every kind of spark possible...but nothing ever happened.

Ok that's the wierdest thing I've heard so far today.

i say you just do a little experiment of your owns like this bliink
if you burn off your hair then we'll hook you up with a cool wig

I've entertained the thought before... but I like my hair the way it is. Wrapped in tinfoil. ;)

Ah...tinfoil. Keeps it fresh, keeps it inbred.

And keeps those damn satellites out of my brain! :O

They tried it on myth busters but they set off a lot of them. It was cool.
