Hmmm, I saw a similar stoy on TV about a couple who had been doing the same thing soemwhere in the US, treateing kids liek animals, but they have not been arrested yet, I even think they are allowed to adopt even more kids. I think it had soemthing to do with the miscommunication between different states, that they had not bee arrested.

Oh please don't tell me this is the adoption agency's fault? It's extremely hard to be allowed to adopt so clearly at one point they appeared to be stable. Such a shame.

that was not my point.
I'm not saying that this was the adoption agency's fault.
my point was that after five or six of those adoptions they appeared as completely normal parents. hell - they even had to be VERY good, as they were allowed to adopt another child.

we don't know if this things were happening before they adopted all seven of those children. maybe they flipped out recently, before that they were 'normal' parents.
but I think, that it's not something that just happens to people. such madness doesn't come from nowhere. one has to have his braind twisted since the beginning. but apparently no tests were good enough to show that they are/can be dangerous to those children.

I've just asked my friend, a lawyer, about adoption. he said that after you adopt a child the adoption agency completely looses control over the child. and if you would like to adopt another, the only condition you have to meet is to have enough house income. so as long as you can afford more children it's ok to adopt them as many as you like.

What absolutely sick, twisted individuals... They were even too cowardly to appear at their own court case. I feel absolutely no compassion for them whatsoever, and just hope that the court gives them a harsh enough sentance. I'm thinking going down each 'notch' of each finger and toe, one by one, day by day, with a cigar cutter, starving them the whole time, evetually ending with a much deserved hanging... but then that's just me.
