Map differs from servers?!

I have a problem with CS:S, whenever I go to play it, it says my map (de_dust) differs from the servers. How is this possible? Steam doesn't need to update, and there is only one f*cking map.

Maybe it is a modified version with new spawn points.

Just tried starting my own server, works fine. Strangely, it says my map file (maps\de_dust.bsp) differs from the servers, but when I look in my steam\steamapps\falcon39\counter-strike source beta\ there is no de_dust.bsp in any of the folders anywhere. I searched my entire Steam folder for a de_dust.bsp and it doesnt exist. Whats going on?

That's normal. It's in a cache file and not present as a .bsp file. The only way to see or access the .bsp file is to use the program gfcscape.

Cool cheers, I'll get that program and copy my brothers map file over, see if that works.
