I was just wondering if there is someone that knows any good, simple to learn from video tutorials for hammer out there. videos that teach everything from basics to advanced stuff.

or if anyone here is pretty skilled and could create these vid tuts for me, i could offer you something for this $$$ or something. just PM me if you wanna know :D
 
Do you have problems with reading comprehension?
 
Also you can try the tutorials section of the ModDB. There are a lot of video tutorials there but I'm not sure how helpful they are.

Ive tried searching for an answer to this but cant find it anywhere. I cant get hammer to compile even a simple box room with a spawn entity and light inside like soo many on the beginners tutorials dictate.

Is this a common mistake due to setting the configuration up or something? I'm what comes before being a n00b lol, but im determined to learn guys.
 
Dazzer, post your compile log and we should be able to tell you what's going wrong.
 
Also. When you post your log do tell why you didnt start a new subject but instead bumped an old one.
