maps and server creations

im not shure if this post falls here or in the mods but... im intrested in making my own maps and servers. been playing deathmatch alot, and iv'e seen some crazy maps and heard cool sounds. espically the "dominating" love that one. and even some music playing wile you deathmatch. is there tools or programs to create your own servers and/or maps and if so whare can i find them. hope sombody can help

Download the source sdk. It's on your steam menu thingajigger but I have to go take a huge piss right now so I can't tell you and I'll probably forget about this thread when I return.
