Mario ai

That's pretty damn cool. Of course, that's the way my mind sees things when I play Mario anyway...

Infinite Mario isn't an official Mario game even so I don't see what the big deal is, also, in the original Super Mario Bros, could you jump-climb on walls like the AI does in the longer level? I don't recall being able to do that.

Minus ten for missing the point of the project, you big sourpuss.

What the **** was that wall jumping when he fell in the pit!?

What's the point of the project? Simply to make a Mario AI? I would be more impressed if they managed to do so without the original code to the project.

Very interesting. It almost looks like its doing an alpha-beta search of its possible options.

EDIT: Looking at the code in one of those frames, it looks like it has tasks for a genetic algorithm.

How long before platformer AI becomes the Speedrun equivalent of sports doping?

The way it draws several lines before an action is taken reminds me of an ant colony path finding algorithm
