Mario Kart DS: IGN and Gamespot reviews.

Me too. I have to get one of these soon. Not just for the normal DS games, but for the ScummVM usage. Great great potential :).

IIRC, it's an emulator for a bunch of old point-and-click adventure games... perfectly suited for the stylus.

yeees! more games for my DS! now I need this, advance wars dual strike... and a shitload of other stuff.

I got this game yesterday :D Let me tell you, it ROCKS. Jacked into my wireless router without a hitch, and I'm happily playing with people around the world wirelessly. (Not to mention lag-free)

The game includes all the tracks from the SNES, GBA, N64, and GC versions of the game, INCLUDING new tracks.

And you can even have your own custom icon, 32x32 which you draw yourself.

The game is great, I'm glad I bought it. Nintendo's WiFi is really going to be big.

sounds great

custom icon? you don't mean custom player character do you? like replacing mario's art for your kart? that would take more than an icon i guess you mean like an avatar?

Yeah, kinda like an avatar or buddy icon. Picking this game up tomorrow BTW.

Well, we finally caught up with you yanks :)

Mario Kart arived today - and of course, it's lovelly. A nice combination of the snes original and MK64.

I still prefer the tighter handling, faster speeds, and the greater focus on actually racing - rather than crazy powerups, powersliding, and big fat roads - in the snes/gba version, but am still greatly enjoying MK on the DS.

It's taken all the best features in MK64, left out the crap, and stuck them on the snes version. The result is the MK party game that the disappointing Double Dash should have been.

Top stuff :afro:

Got this today, very cool racing (though the sense of speed has been greater in the past) and the online option is a great bonus. So far been a little hit and miss but that has more to do with people disconecting than technical issues.
