Anybody get it? I'm thinking about it, but it's been getting pretty bad reviews. Thoughts?

me and my girlfriend have been playing it... its meh' they use the wii mote, but really i think it would have been more fun with a gamecube controller. And the graphics are gamecube or worse, and if you have a widescreen, you're gonna' be upset, you get to look at pretty little wallpaper on both sides because the image doesn't fit your tv. Try it first, but probably not worth it.

That sounds a bit crappy :/

Mario Party can be great, but it also misses the mark on occasion. Let's hope the next one if better.

I played it with a full party of 4 two nights ago. It was great fun as I expected. The wiimote interaction is fun but a bit stretched at times. Like for example you flick it up just to hit the dice. Is that really necessary? Whatever.
I do wish I had a controller though sometimes. I was disappointed however to find how many of the mini games simply make you use the wiimote like a standard controller with the dpad and buttons.

And I dont know wtf you are talking about with the graphics. Sure they may not be that much BETTER but they can do a lot more shit on screen at once.

4 is the only one I enjoyed. Although 7 consecutive hootenanys on Mario Party 2 at 4 in the morning is one of my best (read: most drunken) gaming experiences ever. Won't be getting this one.

Not looking forward to much till later on in the year:
RE4: Wii
RE: UC
SSBB
SPM
SMG
MP3: C
D: DoC
PH
WiiM
WiiH
BWii
M&SatO
SC: L
Sadness

The list goes on. Guess all those acronyms and I'll give you a cookie.

I'll probably save my 2am multiplayer Wii-ing for SSB: Brawl, but then again my family might want it, so then I'll need more controllers... :x
