This video deserves it's own thread, why should it be thrown in the bin with all the other videos and everything for some homeless dude to come round and have a rummage round.

This is why Bruce Lee is the greatest martial artist of the 20th century, he inspired so many to do so much and brought a lot of fighting styles into the twentieth century by saying that people shouldn't just learn one martial art, but all of them, take what works for them by sparring and finding out for themselves what they like and what works for you and then use that. Which is why Jeet Kune Do is so great, it's not just a philosophy of fighting but also a philosophy of life.

And stop shitting all over this thread with all this bullshit "in before locked" and "what a newb, put it in the other thread so no one can see it or discuss it".

Yeah, same thing is said in every thread like this. Least they could do is be original like you.

Yeah, if everyone was like me, this place would be so much better, full of highly intellectual arguments with every argument and comment backed up by unarguable facts. Anyway, how many martial artists do we have in here?

Bruce Lee truely deserves this thread. He is amazing in his words.

I have a black belt in Karate..specifically the okinawan goju-ryu style. And I did tae-kwon-do for about a month and a half and they started me off as blackbelt there for some reason. I didn't like the "patterns" as they were the same as "katas" just done differently so i quit..that and i got kicked in the jaw and it got dis-located.

I REALLY want to try some muay-thai and jiu-jitsu but not until i'm done high school.

On the topic of Bruce Lee, he's always been my idol. I remember when I was 14, I used to search up his training methods and try and mimick him...it didn't workout lol, but i tried. I tried to do the 2 finger push-up LOL...i can barely do 10 1-handed push-ups. But still, the man inspired me to do martial arts in the first place.

A lot of people under-estimate him because he's a small asian man...but wow the power of this guy is..just INCREDIBLE.

Urr, no one underestimated Bruce Lee, I have seen him to a side kick into a heavy bag and slam it into the ceiling. Oh and from a comment further up, he wasn't the greatest martial artist of the 20th century, he was greatest martial artist ever, but i dont think he used multiple styles, he used his wn unique style to which he wrote a book on when he had this severe back injury in hospital. I mean I actually got into him after I started karate since I started when I was 4 lol. But he was a truely remarkable guy, he was so quick and powerful with his punches, he would sort of wip them in and out so quick that it was feel like he whipping the guy he is hitting. Have a great passion for karate, been doing since I was 4 like I said, now im 18 and im still loving it. I im second dan black belt and senior instructor at my club which is one of the biggest in the uk, owned by my personal sensai called Tommy Kwan, he is pretty old now but back in the day, I bet he was just as good as Bruce Lee himself. Owe everything to martial arts

I do Tae-kwan-doe... badly.

I do Karate... badly.

I'm gonna go pick up Karate again. My upper body strength feels like it's grown to me.
