for Pre Cal...gotta write it in degrees
-------

Use the table feature of a grapher to find the acute angle to the nearest tenth degreee, for the function value.

csc = 0.6733

------

eh? you mean csc(x) = 0.6733?

I don't know what the table feature of a grapher is, but you can find x on any decent calculator by tpying in csc^-1(0.6733).

But you probably knew that already...

CSC(x) >= 1 or less than -1, 0.6733 is impossible

you guys are wrong the nearest angle is 38.57
i think the question doesnt want you to solve for x?
but instead find the angle that .6733 represents so the way i did this was
.6733 x 180 then / pi
to go from radian to degrees...

an di think this is right because it says acute angle

but that has nothing to do with csc

sin(x) = 1/0.6733 = 1.48... But that's outside of sin's range, so as someone said, it's undefined. Tell your teacher I called her a n00b.
