Man, if this picture is real, it is sure is UGLY as hell. Couldn't they do just four different covers (using movie posters) instead? But it comes from the www.dvdanswers.com and most pics are real there.

Dam, I love this trilogy.

The cover looks shit, why on earth they are using four diffrent pics in one cover? Thats not professional........:( one pic is very enough
 
The truth is that the Wachowski brothers have lost the rights over their own ideas and Mr.Silver cut their scenes off the script and maked The Matrix 2\3 be the shit they are.
And he's probaly the asshole behind that cover too.

Yeah, and aliens took over the world. Come on, it just proved that Wachowski brothhers got lucky with first Matrix and completely destroyed spirit of the movie in the next two installments.

Do you have prove of this?
 
It came out on a PT culture mag when Revolutions came out that «the definitive end of the Matrix» promissed by the Wachowski had been removed off the script by WB with the support of Joel Silver for «commercial interests». And then the guy said that the contract with Ubisoft and another, unamed company already had the contracts for products in based from the Matrix storyline with WB so they thought better.
 
They could have at least blended the pictures together or done something interesting.

Ah, the downfall of the Matrix saddens me so.
 
yeah thats bullsh!t, i wanted a definitive end. Now i can't figure out whats goin on at the end!!! I hate the commercial world, everybody will screw u over in the end for money. Whens revolutions due out tho?

Hell, I loved the movies, but I also concede their broad appeal amounts to just about nil. Regardless, there are those of us out there who love all of them.

yeah i know what u mean, i'm part of that fanbase. I loved every matrix movie. I just wish for an actual end, not the stuff at the end that could mean anything. The only good that could come out of this is they make another. The special effects were incredible. I liked that slow mo part of where neo smokes smith in the face.
 
We may, and almost certainly will, find out more in the next game. I think the idea of hte current ending was to let the viewer think whatever they wanted to. Some definite points are made, but the future is mostly open. The current story has reached its end, and its time for the next part, whatever that may be.
 
I really couldn't care less for the cover, so long as what's inside is good. Luckily in this case, it is.

that dvd artwork looks shit and although its highly appropriate for the movie I doubt very much thats the official cover.

the neo one in my fave out of the four. the whole preists outfit minus the white band is a good look on keanu. basically he looks badass.
 
Who the F.U.C.K designed that cover?! It should have been a completely Matrix-coded cover...SHIT

well anyone surprised by this is probably living under a rock because as far as the Wachowski brothers are concerned, their story has been told.. the end..

but in the corporate world (or hollywood as it is in this case) nothing ends if the pple there don't want it to..

with the ending they went with in Revolutions.. it is so wide open that any director can put a spin on the story and milk this Matrix franchise til the cows come home.. and u bet 2 years from now that if enough money is thrown around, there will be another Matrix installment.

this is hollywood we are talking about.. they would never pass up an opportunity to make money (or in the public's view, screw up a perfectly fine Matrix story it has been)
 
I don't really think this is the official cover...It just doesn't look right. I like the idea of the changing colors for the boxes. The first being purple, second green, the third blood red code. I think that'd look pretty cool.

I think the cover should just be plain code with maybe something there.. I dunno.
