I have been really bored, and I asked someone to get me the game for Christmas, so I guess I'm stuck with the demo for a couple more weeks. Anyway...how well can you do in the Dead Man Walking: Manor Yard?

Don't do anything cheap like using cheats or modifying the game to achieve a better score

Meh. You should see that dude on the 3d Realms forum (don't remember his name) , he's blasted the time limit (i.e making the time 99:99:99) on all maps.. :cheers:

But indeed it's good! My record is around 15 minutes on the Upper East level..

You always got to wonder if they cheat, which is sad. It seems to me like enough stray bullets would hit you before you maxed out the time limit...at least in playing the demo version. I think for me to do better on the current map, I'll have to get more up close and personal. When I was doing 5 minutes ones consistently, I could do the bullet time for quite a while getting up close and personal. I think you just have to get the right feel for bullet time.

Wow, that's good. I've only just recently been able to get to 7 minutes, and I thought that was a major accomplishment for me. I don't think I'll ever be that good.

I don't really play the Dead Man Walking levels..I like to play around with mods out there.

I thought 3 minutes was long, until I got up to 12. You just have to do the same thing over and over to get high times. Duck behind the van and pop out every so often to get more ammo.

Well, there are 3 areas you can try ducking behind. 1 is a tree to the left, the other is behind you in that doorway sort of thing, and the other is the van near where you start.

Another option insteand of hiding is get really close and personal. The time I showed above was when I was up close and personal 3/4 of the time.


99:99:99 on all maps is probably using a cheat. I looked up online to see if cheats exist...and sure enough they do. It's aways good to have some nice fun/competition, but cheaters always suck.

Nah, he doesn't cheat .. He's a DMW legend, there's a video recorded of him playing , not sure where it is though...
