max payne 2 help!!!

i had max payne 2 and it worked fine. but i tried to reinstall it and now it gets to about 60 % and it asks for cd 2 with data3.cab. there is only one install disk for max payne 2!!!!! i got it new from eb games or one of those i cannot remember. i ran the disk through a cd cleaner thing and it got rid of almost all the scratches but the problem did not go away. can anyone think of any solutions?

Return it to the store where you got it, saying you were only sold one disc when two are needed.

wait so your saying you had it before and it worked fine? that means you lost a disc. Go buy it again, we can't help you if you lost a disc.

well there is an install disk and a play disk in the box and there is no other disk holder in the box so i am not missing a disk. ill just buy another copy. i can probably find a cheap used copy.

I think I had this problem, and it was something stupid like a typo in the installer, and it was asking for the wrong disc. I'm not 100% sure since it's been forever, but just put the play disc in, the final part of the installation (data3.cab) is likely on it.
