Something to do before hl2 comes out...

Anyone play or finish max payne 2 yet ??? Tell me how you like the game. I was at the level of the dream where u can see Mona Sax naked lying on the bed.
 
oh come on guys, i know this is not totally hl2 related, but max payne 2 uses the same havok physcis that hl2 uses. PLaying max payne 2 gives me some sort of ideas about how things move in hl2.
 
The game is awesome. Great story, great special effects. It's just bigger and better than the first one. I absolutely recommend it to everyone.
 
max payne 2 rules. i have been on it all night.

Nice to see havok in motion - can only imagine what hl2 is going to be like.
 
KOTOR was awesome, never played Freedom Fighters. I'm getting MP2 cause the first one was the shit. Savage demo was sweet, but I'm gonna have to pony up the dough for the full version. I personally think it's like Natural Selection meets Tribes, which is an awesome mix. I also like how you have your own gold from killing people and you don't have to ask the commander for money.
 
I'm not sure you'd like Freedom Fighters. It's about how - if the Soviets had won WWII and the COLD WAR, that they would have invaded America.(And they would have!) And now you have to lead Americans, through the streets of Manhatten, to victory over their oppressors. Then again, it has solid gameplay, decent character physics, and some of the most intense fire fights. So, you may like it...

Ya know, Starsiege was way cooler than Starsiege Tribes...and it's sequel, and spin-offs.

The whole Earthsiege saga rocked! Too bad, it's not as big as it was five years ago. Still rules!

Man I don't really believe in alot of that left wing shit I was getting on with earlier. Like I said I was upset and all I wanted to to was sow discord (because I was in the worst kind of mood) . Hell I'm voting for the conservative party in my provincial election (Newfoundland) I love America, I want to move there after I graduate. Sounds good. And I don't take games as seriously as to discuss politics when referring to one. I play for good gameplay.

Never played Earthsiege or Starsiege. Heard good things though.
 
Max Payne 2 is very good. Better effects, better physics, overall enhaced graphics engine of the original. However my only problem with it its even shorter than the original, which i finished in 10 hours, so apart from that, its a great game. 9.5 out of 10

Freedom fighters is also a kick ass game, uses the hitman 2 engine, is more focused on squad based missions, and has larger outdoor levels.
Great story. Only problem with it is not enough weapons to choose from.
9 out of 10.

Next games im getting are Worms 3D and Prince of Persia: sands of time.
 
Freedom Fighters is absolutely FUN... just plain FUN! It's extremely addicting and I found that it was also incredibly immersive (storyline, characters, plot, etc.) 9/10 for Freedom Fighters :D
 
Savage is what I'm doing until Half-Life2 comes out. And maybe some UT2004 at LAN parties.
 
What's 'Savage'? Sorry for sounding a little lost on the subject ;). Haven't had much time for things recently due to the tough life of a sophomore in high school... football, too.

Being 16 years old is tough, damnit! LMAO

Guys, British gamers are always unluky gamers. They always have to wait max of 10 days after the release of any game.

I must say that I really looked forward to Worms 3d after the previous few worms games were great, but as an example to the full version, the Worms 3d demo sucks. It is just plain awful, this game could have came out 2 years ago.
 
Yes, worm series was one of my best LAN games. We will give W3D a try for the sake of gaming history.
 
Cheater the game itself is not free, but it costs nothing to play it, unlike games like Everquest amd Planetside.

I bought MP2 on the first day it was released and beat it two days later (which was yersterday the 17th). Currently, I'm playing on Dead Man Walking mode. Rocks.
 
i got Max Payne 2 today
and its damn good it worth the 50 $ i paid for it.

now waiting for
Call Of Duty ( 29 Oct ) this game really really rox, i loved the first and the second demo its the best WW2 FPS i ever played.

Eventually I'm going to get tired of waiting, and so I will buy a gun, and make my own Hl2. Too bad I can't Save & Load, in my version.

I bought max payne 2 yesterday afternoon, and beat it last night :/
excellent game, but either IM too damn good or its too damn short.
anyway, all the conversations are great, and so are the tv shows (I would even kill myself so I could reload and hear what I missed sometimes) some great dark humor.
however its not going to tie me over till hl2.. :/ now Im waiting for Call Of Duty, or perhaps I should get COmmandos 3
:D
 
Savage, the full game, is NOT free, the demo is and its DEFINETLY worth the download, been addicted to it for many days now, actually started to develop a bit of tendonitis/carpltunnel :(, so I have to slow down a bit :)

12.32 Here......looks like I have an Arch Nemisis.

However, I have gotten 10+ min on the other maps, except for Scaffold, which is nearly ****ing impossible to get over 8.
 
I have finished Freedom Fighters and really liked it. I bought Max Payne 2 the day it came out and just finished it like 2 minutes ago. I think i'm going to try the Savage demo to see what its like. Anyway, I would recommend both games to anyone.
