Looks like they realized how stupid his new design was and gave him his hair back.

But then...TRAGEDY STRIKES

Either way it looks like they are forgeting two important elements of the Max Payne series: film noire, and New York. I'm sorry but it just wouldn't really be max Payne without those things. Also I don't like this idea of the charater "realistically" aging from the pasage of time from one game to the next. Why couldn't the character just stay a young punk with a "constipated" face ROFL.

I haven't played any of the Max Payne's (despite having them) and I still feel that ugly, physically unappealing characters need to be cast as main characters more often, I like them. I am so tired of games not moving past the idea that main characters should always be relatable, or cool, or desirable. Not saying the fat bald one was a good design choice, but this one certainly isn't that exciting either.
But whatevs, Max Payne was always lame as shit looking anyways.

Max Payne 2 is one of my favorite games ever. Excellent gunwank with lots of pyro effects, physics and of course the original bullet time. Plus it has a good story with a couple of memorable characters. Vinnie in the mascot suit. :)

I liked 2 also but I don't think anything could've beaten the story and the noir feel of the 1st Max Payne. It was a work of art. Now they're making him into a bald Tommy Vercetti from GTA look-a-like? Dear Lord... I don't like to judge but this does look like it's gonna suck hairy balls.

Eloquence seems to have taken a dive here.

There has to be something to balance the way one speaks, especially on a forum, so posts don't become monotonous or predictable. When someone reads my posts five years from now, they will think "Wow, that man could speak in an intelligent and clear manner, but he could also talk like a typical suburban 13 year old. This man is a genius, we need him to write for us."

lol yeah

Games frequently have characters that are unrelatable, uncool and undesirable. They just like to act like they are. :p

I still see remnants of Stinky Cheese Face, so I'm happy.

God, it's like he can't stand the smell of his gun or something ...

He's sneering, **** you man don't insult MP1.

I love how all the polygons went into his face....oh wait isn't that most games still?

and my god, how did we play games like this. just look at his fingers. lol it really pops out at you.

also will Max Payne 3 be in 3D?

At least he had fingers. All games in the 90's had characters with hands that were one solid piece. UT99 and Quake 3 immediately come to mind.
