I dont want to sound like an ass but maybe now VALVe will learn not to treat their supporters like shit anymore. Seems to me like this was done by yet another pissed off fan, eagerly awaiting HL@ until the 11th hour then shot down... or maybe I'm wrong... Any opinions?

Maybe it was done by someone who got pissed off. Maybe it was done as a cry for attention. Maybe these guys got bored and wanted the Half-Life community to be "raged" at them or something. Heck i dunno. I dont care for these ***** guys or the JAPS or whoever it is. I just want to play HalfLife2 sooner

And to set the record straight, I am not angry at VALVe for the delay, I just noticed that quite a few people were.

It's pretty clear to me that this was a professional. Everything points to **g0t at this point. I frigging hate them.

It actually seems to be the opposite of what was originally posted: that the delay is a result of the leak, not the other way around.

I was really disapointed for the delay but i was really looking forward to the next release date... Now those hackers really made a lot of people feel bad :|

Everyone understands that they knew the source was copied on the 19th, and it was the reason for the delay, right? The person who did this, they delayed it a little bit by copying it, they delayed it a lot by actually leaking it.

Gee I thought it was pretty clear that the break-in occured a good week before the delay was announced, and was almost certainly the cause of the delay in the first place.
