Medic Achievments here.

Some are easy. Some are hard. I'm glad that some are difficult unlock the current achievements.

Big Pharma: Assist a heavy in killing thirty enemies where neither of you die
Medical Breakthrough: Assist in destroying eight enemy Engineer buildings with a single Ubercharge on a Demoman
Ubi Concordia, Ibi Victoria: Assist in killing five enemies on an enemy control point in a single life
Sawbones: Hit enemies with your bone saw ten times in a row without dieing or missing
Chief of Staff: Accumulate ten million total health points

Wow. These are ****ing impossible.

Ten million points? gtfo.

GTFO.

edit: Some of these sound like bullshit.
Triage: Deploy an Ubercharge on a teammate less than a second before they are hit by a critical explosive
Intern: Accumulate seven thousand heal points in a single life
Specialist: Accumulate ten thousand heal points in a single life

Placebo Effect: Kill five enemies in a single life, while having your Ubercharge ready but undeployed

Oooh, this'll create some selfish medics.

Some of these achievements do seem proposterous. :hmph:

Seriously. I'm all for a good challenge in earning these unlockables, but some of these achievements look ridiculously difficult, or require a stroke of sheer luck to achieve. Ubercharging somebody less than a second before a crit? And that 10 million points healed one is seriously steep. Most of them seem fine, either coming naturally with playing and others requiring a good bit of skill to accomplish. I just hope some of these are red herrings or subject to change. For a game that prides itself on being accessible to all gamers, and considering that unlockables hinge on these achievements, these are some pretty big walls for a lot of people.

this list sounds more realistic I think:

* Assist Capturer- Helping while capturing

* Kill Healed Spy - Kill an enemy Spy, who just stole Heal from your team
* Invite Join Charge - (?)
* Heal Under Fire - Healing while burning
* Heal Large - Healing for a long time (how long?)
* Heal Huge - Heal for an even longer time (?)
* Heal Grind - Being an MegaUberSuper-Medic (when?)
* Heal Ing? - Healing an Engineer
* Heal Callers - Healing teammates, who called for a Medic
* Heal Achiever - (?)
* Freeze Cam Ragdoll - (?)
* Extinguish Teammate - (how to extinguish?)
* Medic Counter Charge - (?)
* Charge Juggle - Giving Uber to different teammates
* Charge Friends - Ubering a Friend
* Charge Blocker - (?)
* Bonesaw Spy Caller - Killing an enemy Spy with the Bonesaw

. Triage: Deploy an uber-charge on a teammate less than a second before they're hit by a critical explosive.

........that is rediculous

Some of the COD4 achievements are insane as well. One is shooting a string of C4 to kill an enemy. I shit bricks when I killed a sniper with his own claymore. Another time was killing somebody with a blown up car.

The worst CoD achievement is killing an enemy by shooting a C4 through a wall.

This is just nuts.

No one gives a shit about Call of Duty achievements. This is Team Fortress 2.

These do sound pretty hard, yet challenging. I'm all for it.

I think that will happen without trying eventually, just by luck. Although the key word is "explosive"... it would be much easier if it included all crits, like by heavies and pyro's.

At least you don't need it to unlock everything :dozey:

No one gives a shit about iogg. This is SPARTAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

No one gives a shit about Fortress Forever. This is ROBIN WALKERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Did I do it right?

I don't think Triage will be that hard. Just count -one-onethousand-. It's quite enough time to right click.

a ill probably jest play for about 2 weeks straight forget all about the achievements, and get them on accident...yeah thats how i role.

I just figured out how to tell how many healing points I have: 5,571,746. This took 147 hours of playtime. Yikes.

HA! I just figured out the easy way for that Triage achievement... uber around a critsticky!

Attackers on Gravelpit, last stage on dustbowl.. so many possibilities.

There's probably a bunch of easy methods for some of them.

The heal 7000 and 10000 can be done no problem on "duel" maps, not hard to do both in one life!

Still technically legitimate... no bots required or any other stupids suggestions.

I'm only really worried about the 10 friends achievement... I need 6 more!

As for full stats...this post on the Steam forums has a link to a nice program.

God if these are real I'm ****ed. I haven't even got some easy achievements yet.

Wow, only 2,000,000 health healed for me. : (

At least I'm not a career medic.

Um, does that program work if with the stats Valve stores or all the stats you collect? I ask because I'm screwing around with PC's at the moment and my TF2 folder was deleted.

# Play Doctor: In a team with no Medics, be first to switch to Medic after a teammate calls medic and heal 500 health

I don't see anyone getting that soon.

ya not right after the new stuff comes out

If these achievements are retro-active, I already have two of them.

  • Intern: Accumulate 7000 heal points in a single life.
  • Specialist: Accumulate 10000 heal points health in a single life.

My record for health healed in a single life is 19k.

:D

Well I'm probably not getting most of those! The rewards sound kinda bunk anyway, though... what happened to the overhealer one with no uber?! THAT was cool!

Cut due to balance issues, makes sense I think.

I'm going to leave my system turned on with tf2 running, on my lan connection with my bro playing as well, in order to chalk up those points to get the new weapon.

where do you find out your full stats?
In your Steam directory, probably C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\username\team fortress 2\tf, look for a file called tf2_playerstats.dmx. Open it with Notepad, and search for health. Someone made a program that parses this info into a graphic interface, but you can just search for the info. It's not organized as intuitively as I thought, and it took a few tries to find the info (just search for Health until you find a section with totals). A lot of other stats are in there. I believe this is maintained by the Steam client, and editing them will just cause them to be overwritten later when it's updated? Anyway, there you go.

937,262 health healed.

I'm 9.4% of the way there with 21.5 hours logged as the medic. At this rate I've got about 210 hours to go before 10 million :|

mine says zero right now....ive played medic alot so something is messed up.
