Medusa headphones + CS:S problem

Hi all, i recently purchased a nice new Medusa Headset (non usb version). I have the thing plugged into my Soundblaster audigy 4 sound card set as 5.1 surround. It worksperfectly in terms of 5.1 surround sound but....heres the problem... When i fire a gun, 1 round is shot yet 2 sounds are played.

I dont get this problem with normal headphones, or if THIS headset is plugged in and used as a normal headset.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wierd, played for a few mins and it stopped, not doing it anymore :S

I had this with my Audigy 4 when i first installed it. I restarted the game and it fixed it and it's never done it again. not sure what caused it but it fixes itself so meh...
