In the GDC episode of their Bonus Round video, GameTrailers talk to Erik Wolpaw, Chet Faliszek and Jay Pinkerton of Valve.

Although there's not much new information, it is revealed that the Meet the Pyro video is finished and due to be released "soon" along with "something else".

Aside from this small nugget of information, also discussed is the writer's roles at Valve, Gabe's beard and that they're working on "unannounced things".

You can catch the video here.

New info on Gabe's beard? I must watch this.

Interested to hear what the "Something" is.

Its also nice to hear about Marc Laidlaw again, I was getting worried about that guy! I wonder if that is how Kleiner became a bonus announcer in DOTA2.

It was also interesting to hear Faliszek's point about keeping quiet about projects rather than developing them in public view. Pretty much every major game Valve has released, has had early footage which changed dramatically in the final release. I don't blame them for wanting to keep things quieter nowadays.

"So this is gonna be one of your bi-annual attempts to get us fired, eh?"

Might not be Lombardi's work behind the scene's, but I'm blaming him anyways. It smells like him. Then again he's only Vice President of Marketing. Who is President, anyways?

Does anyone else consider Valve's process of production through creative gravitation simply brilliant?

Hl3 plz.

"Unannounced things" sounds quite interesting. Has made me poke my head in the air and sniff hopefully.
Also, I saw recently a HL fanboy saying "EP3/HL3 will release when Valve learn how to count to 3." - I found it amusing, due mainly because every release by Valve since the OB has been a '2'. Yep.
