Has anyone had a chance to play this game? None of our local stores have got it yet. :flame: Basically, it has Mega Man 1-8 on it, plus 2 games not released in the US that were arcade games. Has a bunch of extras too, like anime videos and interviews with the creator. Im going to get it as soon as one of the stores gets it...

Still waiting for this collection to be available in Europe.

I picked it up for PS2, it is of course excellent. Anyone who is a fan of Mega Man should pick it up, $30 for all 8 MM games + 2 arcade MM games is just too great.

I just picked it up for the gamecube. So far its great, but WHY DIDNT THEY INCLUDE THE ABILITY TO CONFIGURE THE CONTROLLER? They have the a button as shoot and b button as jump! Its completely confusing, makes it hard to react quick, and strains my hand badly. That was their only mistake.

I agree with you 100% Lethal. the classic megaman controls are A=jump, B=shoot. but they reversed it and it's irritating. Also, these games are hard as HELL. it's amazing how a gamer of 7 years or so still has trouble with Mega man. I haven't played a MM game in years, so i forgot how hard it is. Good times, though, good times. Anyway, yeah definately pick it up. the reversal of the controls doesn't take too long to get used to.

That's why I didn't buy it for the GC. It makes me really appreciate message boards, I had been planning on getting the GC version ever since the game was announced for it, but turns out the controls are ****ed and there's no remixed music during play.

Thankfully, the PS2 version has neither of these problems.

Im finally starting to get some things unlocked. Ive gotten used to the controls now, and Im in the process of beating all the games. For some reason, old games are a LOT harder than new ones.

The games would be a lot better if Capcom could actually write a good story and keep it consistent.
