I've played on one or two servers that have melee-only Sudden Death. Lots of fun, that.

Fun thing about melee in tf2 is that you can actually use it in real matches. Not only as a last resort thingie.

Demoman's whiskey bottle is highly underrated. It's much more effective than trying to shoot nades at someone who's like a foot away from you.

TFC crowbar was so generic, weak and useless on many levels

Getting 3-4 people to play Heavies with fists only = hours of fun.

I find the medic's bonesaw and the sniper's machette to be most useful.

F.E.A.R multiplayer used to have a great melee system. Nothing was better than jump-kicking a camper in the back of the head when he least expected it.

Bonesaw also has that nice 17% crit chance...

Melee fights are sometimes fun.
