Memory error on hl2

Hi,

I'm getting an error for every five minutes of playing the halflife 2. The error is:
Application popup: HALF-LIFE 2: hl2.exe - Application Error : The instruction at "0x241f7c37" referenced memory at "0x01a9f5c0". The memory could not be "read".

About memory i suppose, but it only happens when playing halflife..

My system:

asus a7n8x-e motherboard
athlon XP 3200
ATI radeon 9800pro
1gb memory
win XP sp2

Drivers for radeon ATI catalyst 4.12

Please help....
