Ok ppl, i think im getting sumwhere with the memory error... if sum 1 has posted this before plz slap me.
Ok i was playing counter strike source when i got a beep..... but it wasnt the mem error, i minimized and saw that STEAM.exe had encountered an error and had to be closed.. u know the classic windows way, then when i went back to counter strike i got the MEMORY ERROR instantly.....
so what i did was i loaded up the game again only to the main menu... then minimized and cosed steam via task manager, i maximized counter strike to c all the textures Crap and differant colours on the menu.... so i started new server and ... BAM memory error....
If ur still following me, the memory error is nuthing to do with hl2 at all... its when steam hangs up or sumthing, the game needs it to run and crashes.....if only we could seperate steam from hl2.
