Ok guys
im Overclocking, and ive got a problem
Ive set my Ram timings to 3-4-4-7 (i think, something around that) anyways, I then proceeded to Push my FSB up to 240
i restarted, and everything was fine, i checked temps in bios, it was pretty stable, when i went back to main menu in bios, the bios screen went screwy, so i restarted and skipped the bios part, i then proceeded to start up windows and the colors were screwed up on the windows startup as well, it only doesnt does that when i move the fsb back to 230

Oh and im runing
amd64 3000+
KingMax pc3200 Ram (http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=20-156-006&depa=1)
msi k8t neo fsr (socket 754) mobo

Any ideas?

Do you have the AGP/PCI bus locked at 67MHz?

I don't know much about overclocking but. Is your video card overclocked? Pushing up the FSB might not have had a profound heating effect on your processor, but if your video card was already overclocked, that might have pushed it to start artifacting on you.

Again, I don't know much about overclocking so don't flame me if i'm wrong and FSB settings don't effect the pci and agp slots.

any idea how to lock the agp bus? i couldnt seem to find it in the bios...

I believe only some chipsets support/force this feature.
