memtest86 with cdrom?

I want to test my ddr ram for errors with memtest86, but I don't have a floppy disk. I heard i can still use it, if i burn the iso file for memtest86 on a cd..

can somebody explain to me if this is true, and if so, how do I use the program, when i use the cdrom with the memtest86 iso on it?
