I installed HL2.. and have nothing but problems. When loading, I'll see the Valve logo screen, and then it gets to the menu... only to be ALL WHITE! I can't see a thing.. but the system is still working fine. In fact, I can roll the mouse over menu selections and here the sound as it goes from selection to selection. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?
I have an AMD XP 2000+, an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, and a gig of RAM.
I have installed the '4.11' drivers as well as the '4.12' drivers for my video card... no luck.. same problem. Any ideas? anything?
