So today, in California
There were two train accidents
A big one and a small one
I was on the small one
Anyone heard about it on the news?
A lady gave birth lol

Just heard about it right now, i've been asleep. Sucks, wonder how they made that mistake, still, its better than that one incident from the SUV on the tracks. Wonder if my sheriff brother is there...

Our train hit a small Sedan, the driver died and the passenger is mortally injured
On the other accident, west to L.A. 6 people died

Damn, son. So what happened to you? Did you fly around in the cabin?

Dang, 17 people? =/
Okay, we were on our way to our station
Then all of the sudden
BAM!
We came to a screeching halt and everyone just bolted around
No one got thrown and smashed and all that
We found out we hit a car
So we were waiting and I said to my brother "You know what would be funny? If someone gave birth 'cause of the accident"
30 minutes later, we hear on the speakers that they needed help a few cabins down
The announcer said nurses, but I didn't hear that part
So I went to go help, on my way there people came out of the cabin and was like "Go back, they don't need help anymore" And as I was walking back, I hear "It's a girl!"
SO what I told my brother, came true!
THen I told him "You know, I bet we're actually really close to our station
I look out the window, the nose of the train is in the entrance of our station. Less than 10 seconds and we would've been there
The Sedan got smashed though on the passenger side, but the passenger survived with critical injuries and the driver didn't survive

Are we supposed to be posting poems in this thread?

what's that supposed to mean
Anyway?

this thread is about a train accident
that happened in Los Angeles
or something

I'm just wondering
Why is it that we are typing
in such a way that makes it appear
like we are attempting to write poetry?

A life was lost yet a new one arrived
there is a happy ending to that story =]

Yeah, but those two things are totally unrelated. If the first life wasn't lost, the other would still arrive, so there was really no need for anyone dying.

Glad you're okay!

I swear we're going to have a train derailment some day here... kids putting large rocks on the tracks. They also put sheet metal on the tracks and try to find ways to bolt it down.

Somebody should shoot those kids. The train track runs right through a residential area.

Thanks

Whoa! People actually do that?
I knew people were bad, but not that bad

Uhh... I noticed I said Plain derailment... rofl. My mind was elsewhere. I meant train derailment.

:upstare:

And yeah, one day I went walking down along the train tracks for like half a mile that shit was all over the tracks. Rocks, sheet metal, wooden boards... sheet metal bent with rocks weighing it down. Large rocks.

I made a note of it to the police department to be wary of it and check it out... because that's not a simple case of boys will be boys. I wouldn't care if it was tiny stones or pennies on it, but big 20-30 pound rocks and sheet metal is another story altogether.

Thank god this derailment didn't happen in the City of Industry. I'm almost sure it would have been a lot worse had that happened.

There now saying it was caused by the Metrolink engineer, apparently he ran the red light and died in the crash. Also, yeah they should clear all that debris on the track Raz before this ends up happening again. It could even be worse...
